Importance of Spices in Our Life

Spice has its own flavour and essence. They are always very important when taken as food or medicine. There are many spices we use for our cooking mainly cumin, black pepper, turmeric, and coriander seeds. Spices have several health benefits. Sometimes the spices are used as an antimicrobial property for infectious disease. Spices are used in food for their aroma and flavour. These spices are also taken to boil in water to extract their essence and used for drinking

Spices are also used for curing the ailments like fever, malaria, stomach aches, nausea, and many others. Spices are also used as natural food preservatives.

BENEFITS OF SPICES:

1.ANISE: it is used as an antispasmodic and antiseptic and for the treatment of cough, asthma, and bronchitis. Star anise is rich in antioxidants and vitamin A and C.

2. BLACK PEPPER- also known as the king of spices promotes weight loss, helps relieve cold and cough, improves digestion, boosts metabolism, and treats many skin problems.

3.BLACK CUMIN- Black cumin seed oil helps in preventing asthma, allergies, and respiratory issues. It contains antioxidants, beneficial acids, and b-vitamins that balance the immune system

4. CLOVE – They are antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiseptic. Cloves are mainly used as an antiseptic and pain reliever, especially for toothaches and stomach pain.
